The Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers (QPAT) will be holding pension information sessions in the fall of 2026. These sessions will be offered on-line through the Zoom meeting platform. Both sessions are intended primarily for teachers approaching retirement, but they may be of general interest to QPAT members, especially part 1.
Part 1 of the presentation will focus on the basic structure and determination of RREGOP, QPP and OAS benefits as well as pension integration.
Part 2 will focus on how RREGOP and QPP benefits are affected by absences, survivor benefits and indexation, as well as discussing group insurance for QPAT retirees and introducing individuals to the process for retiring.
