The Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers (QPAT) will be holding retirement information sessions in May 2026 for QPAT members. These sessions are intended primarily for teachers approaching retirement, but session 1 may also be of general interest to QPAT teachers.
The registration information can be found in the attached document. Registration will open on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
PTU is organizing a Parental Rights Information Session which will take place one May 14, 2026 at 4:30 PM on Zoom.
Items to be discussed will include the teachers’ rights and benefits during their preventive leave, their maternity leave, their parental leave and their extensions.
To participate in this meeting, you must first pre-register. An email will be sent out to all teachers with instructions on how to pre-register.
The next Delegates’ Assembly is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 4:30 PM at the PTU Office. More details to come.
